Meghan Trainor released her latest music video for "Like I'm Gonna Lose You," which is a part of her stellar debut album Title. Her previous songs like the self-esteem booster "All About That Bass" and sassy "Lips Are Movin" are composed of fun, groovy tunes, but her latest proves to be different.
Trainor's new retro-soul ballad "Like I’m Gonna Lose You," is a heartfelt song featuring John Legend.
In the MV, Trainor can be seen singing in a candlelit room as it rains and pours. She's looking outside at people who are with their loved ones when Legend eventually sings with her. Different types of love are shown, a mother and child, romantic couples, and friendships. This song simply evokes all kinds of love.
Near the end of the clip, the rain suddenly stops and they live happily ever after. Sort of!
Trainor recently cancelled her tour due to hemorrhage on her vocal chords. She expects to be fully healed before the end of the month.
