After controversially losing center DeAndre Jordan to Los Angeles Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks are looking into other avenues including signing guard Deron Williams.
Williams had turned down an offer from the Mavs three years ago, but it seems like now he would want to go back to his hometown and play for them.
Reports suggested that Williams and Brooklyn Nets have reached a sudden agreement wherein the franchise approved to a buyout of Williams' finals two years and $43 million remaining in the five-year, $99 million contract he signed in July 2012.
The said consensus will reportedly give Williams $25 to $30 million of the $43 million he was set to receive on his contract, and once he get the go signal, he's believed to be moving back to his home ground. However, the deal remains to be private until Williams officially clears the waivers.
