La Liga club Granada confirmed the signing of 23-year-old defender Yrondu Musavu-King from French side Caen. Musavu-King agreed to a five-year contract with an undisclosed amount.
The Gabon international made his Ligue 1 debut in 2012, but only had 11 appearances and a lone goal with the team. On 2013, after renewing his contract he was loaned to ES Uzes Pont du Gard where he played for a year before eventually returning to Caen and been included in their main squad.
Musavu-King has represented his country eight times, including a stint at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
"[Musavu-King] is a player of great potential. He’s fast, aggressive and has things to improve on, but he comes to strengthen the first team," sporting director Juan Carlos Cordero said.
The 6-foot-1 footballer is just the second signing of the Andalucians this summer after acquiring Almeria winger Edgar Mendez
