FC Koln sign midfielder Milos Jojic

Milos Jojic completes Koln switch
Milos Jojic completed his move from Borussia Dortmund to Bundesliga rival FC Koln.

The Serbia national midfielder has started playing for the Signal Iduna Park side in 2014 after playing for Serbian club Partizan for a couple of years. He had a hard time securing a permanent starting role at Dortmund, resulting in only 27 appearances across all competitions in two seasons which then lead to his recent move.

Reports suggested that Jojic signed a four-year contract worth £2.1m.

"Milos Jojic is a talented player who has already been able to measure himself up to the best in Europe and prove himself," Koln general manager Jorg Schmadtke was quoted by the club's official website.

"He's versatile and hits good set pieces. Furthermore, he knows the Bundesliga and has already proven his qualities at the highest level."

The 23-year-old has a total of five caps for his country since 2013.
