Former Levante striker David Barral has confirmed his move to United Arab Emirates' club Al Dhafra.
The 32-year-old Spaniard has left the La Liga side at the end of the last season, following the conclusion of his contract.
"I’m officially an Al-Dhafra player. My dream of playing in the UAE has been realised. Thanks for everything [Levante]," Barral wrote on his Twitter account.
Barral started his career by playing in the lower divisions, with Real Madrid's Team B and C. He also made a name for himself by being a crucial piece in Sporting de Gijon's ascend in the top flight after ten years of absence.
The Andalusian joined Levante in the summer of 2013, signing a two-year deal with the club and eventually making a record of 67 appearances and 18 goals.
Barral will now be a part of Al Dhafra, a football club from Madinat Zaid which plays in the UAE Arabian Gulf League.
