A week after Arturo Vidal confirmed his move to Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga club announced that they have reached an agreement with Juventus regarding the transfer of the midfielder.
The 28-year-old Chilean has been with the Old Lady since 2011, but has been heavily linked with a move to the Allianz Arena this summer. Reports suggested that Vidal is to be valued at around £28m.
"The player still has to complete his medical and sign the contract. He should be able to start training with us next week," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said at a press conference.
Vidal will be joining the team in the following week to train and he will be subjected to a medical in the coming days.
Playing for Bayer Leverkusen from 2007 to 2011, Vidal is no stranger to Bundesliga.
