Who says you can't have the best of both worlds? Well, maybe they haven't met Natalie Portman yet.
A living proof that beauty can come with brains and talent - and money, and awards, Portman recently gave a speech to graduating Harvard students. FYI, she deserved the opportunity for she herself graduated from the prestigious university in 2003.
The Psychology degree holder advised the seniors to use their inexperience to their advantage. She cited her experiences on her movie the Black Swan where she won as best actress for both the Golden Globes and Academy Award. She relayed her unpreparedness and self-doubts about portraying the role.
But, in the end she already took the risks so she just persevered and did her best.
"The point is, if I had known my own limitations, I never would have taken the risk. And the risk led to one of my greatest personal and professional achievements."
That was so inspiring Natalie. If you didn't take the risks, then you couldn't have nabbed those awards, learned ballet, met your French hubby, and have your adorable son.
