Juventus slammed the door on Chelsea's face as the latter increased their bid for midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Sun newspaper wrote that the Blues have agreed to a transfer fee worth £69 million.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia may have confirmed the report, but said that the Italians will refuse to sell the France international during this term.
The Bianconeri handed the legendary No. 10 jersey to Pogba, after parting with Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal, will build their team around the Frenchman.
La Liga champions Barcelona were previously the most insistent in acquiring Pogba, but their efforts were also rebuffed.
After Manchester City spent big on Raheem Sterling, Chelsea suddenly stepped up their interest in the former Manchester United man.
However, Juventus have no reason yet to bid goodbye with the 22-year-old this season.
