Marquez finds it difficult to catch up with Rossi and Lorenzo

Marc Marquez resigned to Honda struggling at MotoGP starts in 2015
Current MotoGP World No. 3 Marc Marquez had come to terms with losing this season to Yamaha title rivals Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.

In the recently concluded Czech Grand Prix, despite Rossi's slow start, Marquez still wasn't able to match Lorenzo's speed, which placed him at the second on the podium. He also had the same fate a week earlier at Indianapolis, when he was jumped at the start by Lorenzo, and had to wait until three laps from home to retake the lead.

The Spaniard claimed that Repsol Honda Team is already aware of the problem, but the solution would come later with Honda's 2016 bike.

"I think we are losing on acceleration and on the start [itself]," Marquez said.

"With first gear, we start well, but when we [go up through] the gears, also with acceleration, we have a lot of wheel [spin].

"This is basically one of the biggest problems. With this wheelie, the bike is very physical.

"We are trying to work on this, but for next season. This season it will be like this."

There are only seven MotoGP races left on this year and the 22-year-old is still 52 points behind Lorenzo and Rossi. Still, Marquez is looking ahead to more favourable circuits wherein he would try his best to catch up with the Yamaha pair.

"It's really difficult to catch 52 points from one rider and it's even more difficult to catch 52 points from two riders," he said.

"Both of them have really good pace, like we saw [at Brno], both of them were on the podium at Indianapolis again.

"So it will be really difficult, but we will try our best.

"Brno was one of the most difficult for Honda and our problems and my riding style and now it's coming to circuits that should be better.

"But also Silverstone will be difficult because Jorge is strong there every year."
