Real Madrid to turn down United's Sergio Ramos bid

Real Madrid not negotiating Sergio Ramos transfer
A day after it was revealed that Manchester United is close to acquiring Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, a report surfaced denying this development.

According to Sports Mole, the Spanish club has no intention of negotiating the Spaniard to move to the Old Trafford.

The 29-year-old member of the Spain national team is believed to be unhappy with his current situation with the La Liga giants. He is hoping to have his contract extended, but as of now there are no talks between the team management and his agent.

News sparked that Ramos prefers to transfer to the Premier League club in order to maximize his value. On the other hand, the Red Devils are looking to gain a player from Real following the possible departure of David de Gea who is set to join the Madrid side.

As stated by Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, real has refused to talk about Ramos' possible transfer. He also added that United need to provide up to €200m (£143.5m) to activate the buyout clause.

Ramos has been with Real since 2005 when he left Sevilla.
