Michael van der Mark: No Dutch GP for me this weekend.

After speculations surfaced claiming that Michael van der Mark will make his MotoGP debut at Assen this weekend, he denied the claims through a Twitter post.

"No #DutchGP for me this weekend. Its a team decision. I was available And Honda HRC And ten Kate Racing agree for this opportunity," he posted.

According to reports, the 22-year-old would most probably replaced injured Karel Abraham, who suffered a foot injury in his previous race at Catalunya, making him unfit for the upcoming event. Van der Mark was believed to be taking his position and will team up with Casey Stoner and Takumi Takahashi for the Suzuka 8 Hours.

Unfortunately, the Dutch driver thoroughly crushed the hopes of his fans who are looking forward to his MotoGP debut. It is assumed that the decision to rule out van der Mark is due to some disagreements on costs between both parties.
