Valencia owner Peter Lim says that he never had any doubt the team would make the Champions League group stages and thanked the supporters.
Valencia defeated Monaco in the two-legged play-off, losing the second leg but still progressing thanks to their first leg win.
“I was convinced we would reach the group stages,” Lim said.
“The fans have done a great job in cheering on the players.
“The project is on-going and has demonstrated it’s ‘Valencianismo’ in good times and bad.”
