Deadpool
won't be around until February of 2016. The movie based on the
foul-mouthed Marvel anti-hero took more than one decade in the making
and now that it is finally happening, fans' excitement cannot be
contained. Official Deadpool movie trailer was released three days
ago and has already been viewed 15 million times.
So
how confident 20th Century Fox is about Deadpool starring
Ryan Reynolds? Very excited looks like a sequel is about to be
ordered. Not only a Deadpool movie sequel is becoming more possible.
The show is also planning to bring in one iconic Marvel character who
is essential to several Deadpool stories.
Birth
Movies Death reported a Deadpool movie sequel is already being
considered by 20th Century Fox officials.
"They're
already kicking around ideas for the sequel. And there's one that has
stuck, and - while anything could change between now and whenever the
sequel starts shooting - that idea is bringing in Cable.,” the
entertainment website wrote.
“There
aren’t really many definitive Deadpool villains, apart from Cable,"
director Tim Miller said in an interview with Empire. "If we
don’t put Cable in Deadpool 2 I think we’ll be run out of town on
a rail."
In
the comics, Deadpool first crossed paths with Cable when he was hired
by Tolliver to kill the latter. They also became friends during the
launch of “Cable and Deadpool” title in 2004.
