Despite of their not so good season, the Tigers are still in the wild card picture, the team has just a few days to decide if they’re going to be sellers or keep what they have and see if they get better.
Recently the Tigers lost Miguel Cabrera recently, this incident lead to rumors saying that the team is thinking of selling instead of acquiring for the first time in years.
Dave Dombrowski, President and general manager of Detroit Tigers has not confirmed anything.
“At this point, our focus is trying to win right now,” Dombrowski said.
“We’re trying to do everything we can to qualify for the playoffs. Things can turn dramatically over a 10-game period. But you have to play well, at some point, on a consistent basis. We’re at a point where we have to do what’s best in our heart for the franchise.”
According to reports, The Tigers are ready to let go two of their good pieces namely David Price and Yoenis Cespedes.
