Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dismissed reports suggesting he would soon be leaving Borussia Dortmund for a Premier League club.
The 26-year-old winger has expressed his satisfaction in staying at the Bundesliga side despite speculations linking him with a move to either Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. Both teams were reportedly eyeing him as a target this summer.
After Dortmund's 2-0 friendly win over Juventus, Aubameyang reaffirmed that he is going nowhere.
"You can take it for granted that I am not going to waste any time thinking about giving up how happy I am at Borussia, in the city of Dortmund and with this team," he told the Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
"Dortmund have won the title twice in the last five years, we reached a Champions League final and had Real Madrid on the brink of elimination in the group stage when they went on to win it.
"If I didn't believe that I could win titles with Dortmund, then I wouldn't be here."
The Gabon international had an impressive 2014-15 campaign, scoring 24 goals for Dortmund in all competitions. After qualifying for the next term's Europa League, Aubameyang is positive that BVB can win a title next year.
"There should not be any reason for any team to hide in this league," he said. "We've always proven we are capable of beating [Bayern Munich] in a single match, but of course they have a better chance over the course of a season.
"But I don't see them having any particular right to the title like many people here in Germany do."
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke recently confirmed that Aubameyang will not be sold this summer.
