After speculations arose regarding his move away from the Allianz Arena, Mario Gotze finally spoke up and ended the rumors.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has been reported to be a part of a deal that would bring Arturo Vidal to Bayern Munich. In fact, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge who has ruled out an exchange deal, is believed to be open for a separate sale.
Gotze himself was quoted to be full of praises for Juventus and said that the Serie A team is "a big, big club." He also hinted that he would love to play abroad if given the chance.
However, in his latest interview with Bild, the World Cup's Man of the Match said, "Concerning the rumours about a transfer involving me, there's nothing to it."
Furthermore, Bayern's press officer Markus Horwick stated that there are no offers concerning Gotze. He instead advised the young footballer to assert himself and continue with his development.
"I would stay at Bayern," Horwick believed that this would be the best option for Gotze. "Here he has the best conditions and coaching."
