Joe Johnson happy with Deron Williams exit

Brooklyn Nets veteran Joe Johnson is reportedly "pumped" after the organisation opted to buy out former point guard Deron Williams.

The Nets have also tried to move Johnson, but with Williams gone the plan has shifted to keep him and the team expect a bounce-back season, reports claim.

Johnson is entering the last year of his own contract, and it is unclear at this stage as to whether the Nets will be offering him an extension.
