Capitals' Johansson signs for one year

Forward Marcus Johansson re-signed with the Washington Capitals with a 1 year deal worth $3.75 million.

Johansson made $2 million last season, the final year of a two-year contract, reports claim.

Johansson, 24, played 82 games and had NHL career highs in goals (20) and points (47) last season. He had four points in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

In five NHL seasons, all with the Capitals, Johansson has 61 goals and 186 points in 345 games.
