Finnish racer Kimi Raikkonen's position at Ferrari is at risk after a disappointing half of the season.
On September 2013 Raikkonen signed to a two-year deal to return to Ferrari and it is set to expire next month. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian automobile manufacturer has only until July 31 to decide to keep the former world champion under their wing.
Therefore, Raikkonen has only three races left to impress the Maranello-based firm to offer him a new contract. Before the deadline, he'll be participating in the races in Austria, Britain and Hungary to prove himself worthy of an extension.
Should the 35-year old leave, he'd be likely replaced by Williams's Valtteri Bottas and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo.
