The Crucial Madrid Derby
This
seems to be a crucial derby for Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Both
teams are still in the contention to make it on the semifinals, but
unlike their previous meeting where they were facing for finals, this
match is a do or die one.

The
first leg ended on a stalemate at the Vicente Calderon and Carlo
Ancelotti must find a away to win this match. Real Madrid failed to
score at Atletico Madrid's home and with this incident a goal difference
or a win might decide their fate.
The
second leg is set to take place at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, with the
Los Blancos set to usual frontline after Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema
were ruled-out of the Champions League qarter final due to injury.
Together with Luka Modric while Marcelo is suspended.
Meanwhile Diego Simeone side are hopeful striker Mario Mandzukic will recover from injury. "We now have another training session where we expect him to be OK and I will base my plan, which I have fairly clearly in mind, around that," Simeone said.

On the otherhand Boss Carlo Ancelotti has backed his side by saying "I have the best squad in the world and it is important to focus on the players who are going to play and not on those who are not playing. "We have not beaten Atletico this season because they are a very strong side with one of the most solid defences in the world. It is difficult to score goals against them.
"It will be a close game, hard-fought in all areas and intense. I do not think that Atletico will be in a hurry to score and neither will we."
Game is on April 23, 02:45 (GMT+8)
