Against All Odds at the Enemy's Camp
Like David is to Goliath, it would take monstrous efforts from the
Parisian side to gain a semi final's berth in the Champions League.
Barcelona is sitting comfortably on a cushy 3-1 lead over PSG from
their last meeting at Parc des Princes. Add to that the fact that the
final leg of the quarterfinal will be held at Camp Nou, the
Blaugranes are definitely holding the upper hand.

Even Les Parisiens' coach, Laurent Blanc was honest to admit that,
“I am a realist and we know that it will be very difficult, given
that it we have had little time to prepare for the game. We don’t
have anything to lose and we will simply play our usual game.”
Dubbed as the hopes of the French squad, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and
Marco Verratti will be back in the fold after serving their
suspension and disciplinary action respectively. Arguably, the
latter's comeback will boost the midfield which was seriously lacking
in the last game.
PSG's captain Thiago Silva will miss the final leg after limping
out on the first 20 minutes of their home game. Same goes with former
Barça midfielder Thiago Motta and Serge Aurier.
On the other hand, the Catalan's coach Luis Enrique was oozing
with positivity for their upcoming match, especially with the return
of the suspended Dani Alves. “I have a good feeling because we know
our opponents well, we have met three times this season and in the
three games we have seen more positives than negatives.”
Can the French replicate David's success? Can they defeat their
own Goliath? Find out on April 22, 02:45 (GMT+8) at Camp Nou.
