[Match Preview] 2014-15 English Premier League - West Bromwich vs Liverpool 04.25.2015

Two Teams Gunning for the Ranks

The Reds are in the hunt to increase their chances to book a spot in the Champions League next season. On this journey, head coach Brendan Rodgers dismissed issues that he should be sacked, saying he still thinks he's the right man for the job.

"I don't think there's anyone better (to manage Liverpool). 3 months ago I was a tactical genius so I never get too carried away,” he said per The Times' Tony Barrett.

The Merseyside team is currently in the fifth place of the tourney and is looking forward to gain a much-needed win and be within four points of the fourth-placed Manchester City. They will be playing without injured trio Mamadou Sakho, Lucas Leiva and Daniel Sturridge. All of them had also missed FA Cup semi final's loss to Aston Villa.

Sakho is still nursing a hamstring injury and is expected to be back in May while perennially injured forward Sturridge is still doubtful. On the other hand, Jon Flanagan has returned to training along with midfielder Adam Lallana.

The Baggies will head to the match carrying a win from their previous game against Crystal Palace. They are still in the thirteenth place of the competition and are aiming to improve their rankings.

In the five remaining weeks of the Premier League, who is in for a magnificent final run?

Game is on April 25, 22:00 (GMT+8) at The Hawthorns
