For
months, Kevin de Bruyne has been the subject of transfer rumours.
Many are speculating the former Chelsea player will move out of
Wolfsburg in favour of an EPL club, or rivals Bayern Munchen. Now,
the 24-year old attacking midfielder finally put these rumours to
rest.
"I
will definitely play this season at Wolfsburg," Kevin de Bruyne
said while accepting the "Star of the Season" award from
Sport-Bild awards.
Weeks
before this announcement by the Belgian star, reports have it that
Manchester City lined up £50million bid for the Wolfsburg star who
topped last year's Bundesliga season in assist department. Bayern
Munchen was also linked to versatile attacker but Bavarians' CEO
insisted they are not interested on him since they still have Thomas
Muller and Mario Gotze in the squad.
Wolfsburg
also did not close doors on selling Kevin de Bruyne but only on the
right price.
