Kevin de Bruyne may soon be suiting up for Manchester City as the Premier League club has reportedly agreed personal terms on a long-term contract with Wolfsburg.
In an earlier press conference, the Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini refused to discuss a potential move for the Belgium international, but it seems like the deal is coming to materialize soon.
According to talkSPORT, the 24-year old is keen to join the former Premier League champions, and all that remains to be negotiated is the transfer fee.
However, this still doesn't guarantee anything, as reports earlier this week suggested that Wolfsburg would only be willing to sell the German footballer of the year, who recorded 10 goals and 21 assists for his club last season for a fee of around £57 million, an amount which is thought to be higher than the City's own valuation.
If the deal pushes through, the signing of the former Chelsea player would become the Etihad side's fourth major signing of the summer after Nicolas Otamendi's arrival was confirmed to add to the purchases of Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph.
