According to reports, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will undergo on a second surgery on his right foot and is expected to miss the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old was selected with the third overall pick in the 2014 Draft, but missed his entire rookie season after having surgery in June 2014.
However, the issue has not managed to clear up over the past year, resulting in Embiid having to undergo a further procedure to repair the problem.
Embiid is expected to have a bone graft procedure on which could rule him out of action for the entire 2015-16 season.
The center's last competitive action came in the 2013-14 college season with the University of Kansas.
