Chelsea have finally completed the signing of Baba Rahman from Augsburg. Both clubs agreed that the fee will remain undisclosed.
The 21-year old has been heavily linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge to fill the gap left by Filipe Luis who recently took an offer to Atlético Madrid.
The German club have confirmed the recent development, saying that an agreement has been reached with the Blues over the transfer of the defender.
"Augsburg and Chelsea have agreed on an immediate transfer of left-back Baba Rahman. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the fee."
Meanwhile, Rahman also expressed his delight about the new challenge in his career.
"I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I can't wait to train with my new team-mates and very much looking forward to working with them and Mr. Mourinho," he is quoted by the club's official website.
"I am also looking forward to having the opportunity to meet the fans as soon as possible."
Rahman was a member of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations squad which lost in the final to the Ivory Coast in February.
