Promoter Eddie Hearn admits that he is looking to agree a deal for Kell Brook to face Timothy Bradley in a unification clash in October.
"I had a good meeting with Bob Arum. There are plenty of names available but we would like to fight Bradley. Of course we would like to fight Amir Khan, but outside of that fight, this is the best one for us. Style-wise, it would be an absolute belter. Hearn said.
"I am still hopeful that fight fans will see Khan and Brook fight each other next year but for now, with Khan wanting to fight Manny Pacquiao, Bradley looks like it would be a top fight for Kell."
Brook is unbeaten in 35 professional outings, while Bradley has 32 wins of his 34 matches in the paid ranks.
Brook, the IBF belt holder, is scheduled to make his next appearance in Sheffield on October 24, however his representative Hearn has been left trying to secure a high-profile opponent for the autumn.
Bradley became WBO Champion after Floyd Mayweather Jr was stripped of the title.
