How
big is the pressure for “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” to
deliver? Very big. According to Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara, the
upcoming DC Comics movie is the studio's foundation as it embarks on
a broader, inter-connected cinematic universe featuring the world's
most popular comic book heroes.
"It
was a tough decision at the time because it was going to create a
hole in 2015," he said according to a report by The Hollywood
Reporter. "But it was absolutely the right decision for the
franchise, for DC and the movie. Having seen the movie multiple
times, and again last night, I’m extremely confident it was the
right decision to make the movie better. And it’s so important for
the studio to get the foundation right on DC.”
“Batman
V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” is connected to the “Man of Steel”
that hit theaters in 2013. However, according to Superman himself,
BvS is not a sequel to that. The trailer was released in last month's
San Diego Comic-Con and instantly took over the internet. The trailer
has been viewed 44 million times so far with many fans are raving on
Ben Affleck who will play Batman.
The
events in “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” will set up
“Justice League: Part One” and “Justice League: Part Two”.
Other DC Comics stand alone film connected to the battle between the
Dark Knight and Man of Steel are “Wonder Woman”, “The Flash”,
“Aquaman”, “Shazam”, and “Cyborg.”
