Not long after Zayn Malik left One Direction, controversies arose surrounding him and Naughty Boy.
It started when the English producer retweeted a video mash up of him and Zayn with a moniker Zaughty last March.
Since then, Louis Tomlinson and the Directioners have been on a constant twitter duel with him, which became bigger when Zayn's demo I Don’t Mind leaked.
Well, that's history as a new development regarding Zayn came up straight from Naughty Boy's mouth.
"I think he’s going to make a soulful record," he revealed. "He’s writing himself on it as well. I think it’s worth the wait. The less I say about it, the better."
Naughty Boy also insisted that he had nothing to do with the 22-year-old's departure from the pop boy band and he's not letting the negativity that involves the accusations affect him.
"I do try to look at the positive of any situation and I kind of understand why everyone needs someone to blame,” he told Capital FM. “And it’s a big deal, it’s a big deal for a lot of people. So in my little bubble I can kind of deal with it in my own way without letting it get to me, because I just think it will blow over."
