Forward Racing MotoGP rider Stefan Bradl will need to undergo surgery after suffering from a fractured right scaphoid following a crash in Dutch TT at Assen.
The German, completed his operation today with hand specialist Dr Stefan Krischak leading the surgery on the small bone in the wrist.
"Everything went well" said Bradl, who will be discharged today.
It is not yet known if Bradl will be fit for the Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.

Bradl had a tough season since joining Yamaha after losing his LCR Honda seat to Cal Crutchlow.
Right
now, his highest finish of the year so far is during the Catalan
Motorcycle Grand Prix where he made it on the eight place.
