Roger Federer is deligthed after winning the Gerry Weber Open for a record eighth time.
The world number two saved a couple of set points when trailing 5-4 in the opener, before digging deep to edge out Italian' Andreas Seppi in the tie-break and grabbing an early foothold on the contest.
After himself squandering three break points in the second set, Federer was able to see out a 7-6(1) 6-4 victory. which also helps him to claim his fourth title of the year.
"It is a special moment for me to win this tournament an eighth time," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "2013 was difficult, 2014 was better and now 2015 after this week is even better and I hope I can keep it up".
