Retired Casey Stoner to demo RCV road bike

Retired double MotoGP champion Casey Stoner is set to ride the new RC213V-S at Catalunya for some demonstration laps. This news was confirmed by Honda to Crash.net.

Dubbed as the 'MotoGP machine for the street', the RC213V-S is based on the design of the RC213V grand prix prototype, which Stoner and current MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez have each won world titles with.

The much talked about bike is expected to cost around £100,000 and will be revealed in the Catalunya circuit on the eve of the grand prix weekend.

The 29-year old Australian who retired at the conclusion of the 2012 season, will make his racing comeback with a one-off ride in the 2015 Suzuka 8 Hours and will also take part in at least one more Honda MotoGP test this year.
