According to reports, Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Hoffenheim striker Roberto Firmino.
The 23-year-old had been linked with Manchester United in recent weeks following a fine season in Germany which also saw him break into the Brazil national squad.
However, Firmino has rejected the Red Devils and is expected to sign a contract at Anfield in the next 24 hours.
In addition, Reds chief executive Ian Ayre has flown out to Chile, where Firmino's Brazil squad are contesting the Copa America, to seal the deal.
