Spanish politician and former president of Futbol Club Barcelona, Joan Laporta is confident about the arrival of Paul Pogba to the club. He doesn't foresee any problems but would want to talk to coach Luis Enrique before signing the Frenchman.
During one of his campaign talks, the 52-year-old Spaniard talked about his optimism on Pogba's transfer. He assured that if he would be re-elected as Barca's president then the midfielder's move from Juventus would be more possible.
"Before signing Pogba, I’ll speak with Luis Enrique but I don’t believe there will be any problems," he said to a group of reporters.
"I know [Luis] well, so it’s a possible transfer. I maintain good relations with his agent Mino Raiola after the signings of Maxwell and [Zlatan] Ibra, plus [potential sporting director Eric] Abidal is a great friend of Pogba’s."
Reports suggest that the Real Madrid, Manchester City, and the Manchester United are also in the race to win Pogba.
