The 24-year-old Brazilian has been heavily linked with a transfer to the German giants. This was later confirmed by his current club Shakhtar Donetsk, but the midfielder clarified that the deal has yet to be agreed upon the two clubs.
"Up to now, they have not come to an agreement yet," Costa told Bild.
"Discussions have taken place between my club and Bayern, but so far I know nothing more than the interest of FC Bayern.
"I have been focused on the Copa America. After my time here [in Chile], I'll talk to my agent. Who would not like to play at Bayern?"
At the moment, Costa who is in contract with the Ukrainian outfit until 2018 is representing his nation at the Copa America tournament where Brazil will be facing Argentina in the semi-finals.
Costa attracted interest from the Allianz Arena after six impressive seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk.
