Taylor Swift reveals that how Jay Z played an important role in helping her in mending her rift with Kanye West that was fueled after the rapper interrupted her winner’s speech at the MTV VMAs in 2009.
TS reveals to Vanity Fair, that after becoming friends with the 45-year-old rapper, she and West eventually developed a mutual respect for each other.
The 25-year-old claims that she was not ready to be friends with the 38-year-old ‘All Day’ hit-maker until she felt that he respected her and West wanted the same.
Further, the singer added that it was important for ‘Young Forever’ hit-maker to settle the rift which helped Swift and West to reach a place where they could talk good things about each other.
