India's campaign came to an end at the $50,000 Vietnam Open Grand Prix badminton tournament after Sameer Verma bows out to second seed South Korean shuttler Lee Hyun-il in straight games here.
Verma lost 15-21 22-24 against his World No. 24 Korean opponent in a men's singles quarterfinal match.
Verma was the lone Indian left after the big names of Indian badminton -- Ajay Jayaram, B Sai Praneeth and R M V Gurusaidutt -- lost their respective men's singles second round matches earlier to crash out of the tournament.
