After being ignored by Floyd Mayweather Jr., something good might be on Amir Khan's way as he is reportedly being considered by Manny Pacquiao as the eight-division world champion's next opponent.
According to the Filipino's promoter Bob Arum, he would put the Brit's name in Pacquiao's options after some initial meetings with Khan's side.
"This takes time and I will present everything to Manny and we'll see what happens," Arum said to the World Boxing Scene.
Pac-Man and his camp are looking for the best potential opponent for his comeback fight, which would be held sometime in February/March 2016.
Arum is allegedly considering Qatar, UAE, and Las Vegas as possible venues, but many people are doubting a Middle East location. Arum has been mentioning the Middle East as a big fight location for a while now, but no fight has come to fruition there at this point.
Meanwhile, Khan has also shifted his focus on the southpaw fighter from the Philippines after losing out on the Mayweather fight to stablemate Andre Berto.
