Zendaya shares snippet of Timbaland-produced track

Zendaya previews new Timbaland-produced track
After almost two years since she released her hit Replay, Zendaya is close to launching a new one.

The 18-year-old took to her Instagram and posted a 15-second clip of  her brand new track.

A video posted by Zendaya (@zendaya) on

Zendaya wrote "Z x Timb This second album…it's lit," as the post's caption and tagged producer Timabland, who she worked with on the song.

The disappointingly short video screams potential and the melody is definitely something to look forward to. The Disney star seductively sings "Put you on that high definition love" over a mid-tempo beat.

In Zendaya's previous interview with MTV.com, she revealed where her music is headed to.

"I would say it’s the new wave of R&B," she said. "It's where I think it should be going, or it should be headed; it's very old-school vibe, but it’s a new age version."

It was also disclosed that she was working not only with Timbaland, but with Diane Warren and Babyface too.

"It's awesome — it's really really cool — especially when you have people that believe in your vision and believe in what you want to do, that’s the coolest part. Because then you don't get worried, you start doubting yourself less. You're like, 'You know what? I'm doing the right thing.'"

With no release date in sight — "I have no rush, no time limit, I'm chilling" — Zendaya is taking this time to craft a second album that’s not only more mature sonically, but lyrically as well.

"My first album I was only 15, 16, so I was talking about stuff, but I didn't really experience it," she said. "Even though it’s only been a couple of years, you experience a lot — especially being a young adult, being 18, I have a little more behind what I'm saying."
