Is
Pep Guardiola abandoning Bayern Munchen? According to reports, it
looks like it with the English Permier League as his next
destination.
Reports
from Qatar claim the 44-year old Spanish manager is on his way to
Manchester City and has already signed a contract that will see him
take over Manuel Pellegrini's post next summer.. Guardiola's ties
with the Middle East country is deep. He played for top club A-Ahli
for two years and even endorsed the nation to become the hosts for
2022 FIFA World Cup. His contract with Bayern Munchen will expire
after this season.
Bayern
Munchen may have won 2014-15 Bundesliga title but that does not mean
everything is going right for them. By their own standards, the past
season was a failure for the Bavarians. Not only did they lost the
DFB Pokal title, they also exited the UEFA Champions League early.
Fingers
point mostly to manager Pep Guardiola. During the second half of the
season, he reportedly had a fall out with club's medical team,
leading to the resignation of their long time doctor. He was
allegedly mad for the team's miscalculations of players' fitness.
This summer transfer window did not help him, too, as fans were
disappointed on him for allowing team's long-time midfielder Bastian
Schweinsteiger to leave.
Should
Pep leave Bayern or not?
