Italy international Angelo Ogbonna will reportedly move to West Ham by the end of the day. It is believed that the Juventus centre-back will complete his transfer, despite late talks from Southampton.
Previous reports suggested that the 27-year-old will sign a four-year deal worth €12m with the Hammers.
According to Tuttosport, the defender agreed to a €2.2m per season contract which will be officially announced today.
The same paper stated that Southampton emerged with late interest towards the Italian with a higher bid of €13m, but Ogbonna had his heart already set on a move to the London side.
Ogbonna represented his nation 10 times and developed his football skills in Torino's system, having made 147 appearances before crossing Turin to join Juventus at the 2013-14 season.
He had a successful Juventus stint with 41 appearances and celebrated a pair of Serie A titles, but he was an unused substitute when they lost the Champions League final to Barcelona.
