WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez of Mexico, is closing in on a venue in Las Vegas - with November 7 and November 21, according to reports.
New York City and Texas were also under consideration, but Las Vegas has taking the lead (The date depends on the venue).
According to source if the match take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, then the fight is going to happen on November 7 while November 21 is likely to take place at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Gaby Penagaricao, Cotto's adviser, reveals that an announcement is likely for this month, as the two sides are still working out the details.
