Mardy Fish has revealed that the the US Open will be the last tennis tournament of his career.
The 33-year-old Ameican, who once was ranked in the world's top 10, has played just one competitive match since August 2013 because of illness.
As a result, the right-hander has decided that following the conclusion of his campaign at Flushing Meadows, it will be the right time for him to retire.
Fish never got beyond the quarter-finals of any of the four Grand Slam tournaments, but he did win the Hopman Cup alongside Serena Williams in 2008.

My schedule this summer will be Atlanta, Cincinnati, and I will finish my career at the US Open. #lastride
