Jamaica Beat USA, Reaches First Gold Cup Final

For the first time since 2003, the United States have failed to make the Gold Cup final and will now have to win a playoff to get into Confederations Cup. They were eliminated by Jamaica, who beat them 2-1 in Atlanta on Wednesday. The historical win gave Jamaica their first Gold Cup final appearance.

Jamaica advances to Sunday's final at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, while the U.S. heads to PPL Park to play in Saturday's third-place game.

Goals: Mattocks (31'), Barnes (36'), Bradley (48')
The U.S. men's national team is still in position to earn CONCACAF's berth in the Confederations Cup having won the 2013 Gold Cup, but winning the 2015 Gold Cup would've secured that automatically. Now it'll come down to an October playoff against either Jamaica, Panama or Mexico.
