Ilkay Gundogan has claimed that he can see himself playing for Borussia Dortmund even after his current contract expires.
The 24-year-old midfielder has just signed a one-year extension with Dortmund after he was heavily linked with a move away from Signal Iduna Park earlier this summer.
Despite his new contract tying him to the Bundesliga club only until 2017, the Germany international has hinted that he would want to play for the squad for a 'longer period.'
"I am heading into my fifth year at Dortmund and I am feeling very well here," Gundogan told Bild.
"I can see myself staying at BVB for a longer period. We will have to wait and see how things develop."
Gundogan joined Dortmund in 2011, but has been surrounded with transfer rumors to Arsenal and Manchester United in the past.
