Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has committed £160m of public money to fund a new stadium for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks have been linked with a move to either Las Vegas or Seattle in recent months, but their future in Milwaukee has now been assured with the new 17,000 arena due to be open in 2017.
Meanwhile the club announce in their website: "The culmination of an extraordinary effort from a broad coalition to not only keep the Bucks in Wisconsin, but revitalise Milwaukee."
