The Dodgers signed first-round pick Walker Buehler but the former Vanderbilt hurler will have to wait for his professional debut.
Buehler signed for $1.78 million, about $300,000 less than anticipated because of the injury. Buehler's elbow injury played into his disappointing three-inning outing in the national championship game against Virginia.
The Dodgers also signed sixth-round pick Edwin Rios, a first baseman from FIU. But Louisville pitcher Kyle Funkhouser, the 35th overall pick, decided to return to college for his senior season.
