San Antonio Spurs point guard Danny Green has signed a new deal with the NBA franchise instead of opting to continue as a free agent.
The Spurs have managed to keep the deal following Green has shone last season with a career-best average of 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 81 games.
The new contract ensure that the Spurs are covered in the guard spot for next season with a player that became the only man to average at least one steal and one block per game in the 2014-15 campaign.
Green spent five seasons with San Antonio, having originally joined as a free agent back in 2011.
