Hannover 96 announces the signing of forward Melvut Erdinc from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.
The Turkish forward scored 82 goals in 256 games for four French top-flight clubs including Les Verts, has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Bundesliga giants.
Hannover sporting director Dirk Dufner claims that Erdinc's "mentality" should see the striker fit in well.
"We have worked intensively to complete this transfer because it was clear to us that Mevlut Erdinc embodies the type of striker that we want to have.
"His mentality suits us especially well. He's a team player and uses his dynamism and robust approach for the benefit of the team."
