Bayern could consider selling Lewandowski for £35m or higher

Robert Lewandowski would cost Manchester United £35m
Manchester United are reportedly interested to bid for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski. However, the striker's representative claimed that the German giants would only sell Lewandowski for £35m or higher.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with acquiring the Polish international captain, following the departure of Robin van Persie who has left for Turkish club Fenerbahce.

The 26-year-old's agent Cezary Kucharski stated that Lewandowski could actually play in the Premier League in the future, but only with Bayern's approval.

"I think it would have to be a very high offer, definitely higher than £35m for Bayern to consider selling," Kucharski told Polish TV. "With a player of Robert's class, the truth is that not a lot of work is required because really there are only two directions in which he could go in the future, England or Spain, and only with Bayern Munich's acceptance.

"There must be a signal from the club, from Munich. There is no such signal so we are not thinking about it, because even thinking about a change of club would be unfair in my opinion to the current employers. There is no reason, apart from money to be honest, to even think about it."

According to reports, manager Louis van Gaal is looking to complete a big-name arrival despite still having Wayne Rooney and James Wilson as scoring options.
